Katherine, I'm so happy your participating in Pink Saturday, welcome to all the fun! I would just love to have a clawfoot tub like that, it's very pretty paper and it gave me inspiration for a card! Have a great weekend! Mary
Very pretty.I can see myself soaking in that tub also.I have always wanted one of those tubs. Maybe my mansion in heaven will have one =) Have good weekend.
The border is so pretty! I would love to get together when we visit our son in Springfield! We will probably be going in the summer, but I'm not sure just when. I bet there are some nice tea rooms there. That would be so exciting! Take care. Have a great weekend! God bless.
Happy First Pink Saturday! I think that would be so beautiful to do to a Clawfoot tub in real-life. Although I would never let my son near it! I saw that you are a fan of Anne of Green Gables. I have all the 3 of the movies and the whole series of Avonlea! Thank You for sharing your Pink!
Welcome to PINK SATURDAY! Years ago everyone was throwing out their claw foot bath tubs. Since then they seemed to add charm to backyards because the tubs were used for planters. Now, claw foot tubs are popular again in bathrooms. Funny how things seem to go full circle. I bet you enjoy looking at that wallpaper. Who wouldn't? Enjoy those long baths. Joyce
Hi Katherine...nice to meet you. I took the time and went through your whole blog. You have a lovely home and I love Tea rooms. Yours looked beautiful. Hopefully, you can do it again one day. Have a great weekend.
Katherine, I am passing a friendship award on to you. You are such an encouragement. Just go to my blog and copy the quoted text and award. They are on my Saturday, March 14 post. May God bless you. (I tried to copy and paste them here, but I couldn't make it work.)
When I was in graduate school, I lived in an old apartment in the historic part of town. It had a claw-footed tub that I really enjoyed on Friday nights after a long week of work and school. You just can't beat it for a good deep and hot soak!
Back in The Day, I visited the home of a friend from art college - her parents were very well off, and her mother was an interior decorator. The downstairs bathroom had a bath, bidet, sink and pedestal toilet - all with goldfish glazed inside and outside the chinaware! I never saw anything so beautiful before or since...but your lovely bath picture just reminded me.
So thankyou for the lovely memory, the lovely picture and a lovely post! Welcome to your first Pink Saturday!
