  1. Aw! That nightlight is awesome! I only buy pretty night lights too! LOL. It is so funny that you just got a Carey Grant movie because I did too! Today I bought "An Affair to Remember." I've never seen it before but I know it's considered one of the most romantic movies of all time. I wish my stinky boyfriend was interested in watching these kinds of old sweet movies with me like your husband is! You lucky girl!

    All the best,
    Allison

  2. Sounds like you had a great time shopping. One of my fave places to hit in town is a used book, DVD, and CD shop. I have not been in awhile, but it is a great place to trade in old stuff you no longer want to see or listen to in exchange for new stuff!

  3. Dear Katherine,

My condolences regarding your Grandma. But I'm so happy that she knew the Lord and was ready to be with him. That makes a passing bearable in a way.

Your treasures are wonderful! I love Cary Grant movies too! The movies from that era are my favorites.

    God bless you, Sherry

  4. The little nightlight is so sweet! I love it! My husband and I love Cary Grant movies, but I don't think we've seen His Girl Friday.

    Take care. Many blessings.

  5. Kathrine,im so sorry I missed the passing. Im so sorry. If she was ready she knew what she wanted. The peace of it is sweet even though I know it is hard on the family.
She is in heaven wondering around the beautiful flowers.

  6. Katherine-

So sorry to hear about your grandmother. Even though they may be ready, I don't think we ever are.

Cary Grant will be a brief but wonderful distraction for you. I wish we had more actors like him today. He was in a class by himself.

    Hugs!

  9. I'm so sorry about your grandma. ........I'm still missing mine and she's been gone since I was ten. That was a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time ago. When someone really impacts your life, their loss is profound.

    I enjoyed your bloggie too...
